Voting Criteria
Bayshore has 212 Units. A Quorum of owners requires a Majority (50% +1) or 107 Units. This Quorum can be composed of proxies or registered attendees at the meeting.

Voting Procedures
- If you haven't filed a Certificate of Appointment of Voting Representative for your unit then complete the form and return it to the office.
- If you desire to vote in advance or cannot be at a Members meeting then a Limited Proxy Form can be completed and returned to the office either in person, by mail or by scanning the form and emailing it to [email protected].
12/2/21 - Annual Meeting
A Quorum of 123 owners were Represented. Two owner resolutions were considered requiring an affirmative vote of a Majority of the Units Represented at the meeting.
Resolutions;
1) Resolution to partially fund the 2022 Reserves:
> 121 affirmative votes were cast, 2 against - Vote Passed
2) Resolution to rollover surplus operating funds to reserves:
> 123 affirmative votes were cast, 0 against - Vote Passed
A Quorum of 123 owners were Represented. Two owner resolutions were considered requiring an affirmative vote of a Majority of the Units Represented at the meeting.

12/5/19 - Annual Meeting
A Quorum of 112 owners were Represented. Three owner resolutions were considered, the first requiring an affirmative vote of a Majority of the Units Represented at the meeting and the second and third needing 128 (60%) affirmative votes of All Units (212) to change the by-laws.

98 affirmative votes were cast, 14 against - Vote Passed
2) Resolution to convert Men's & Woman's gyms into separate unisex weight & cardio rooms, sauna(s) & steam rooms:

3) Resolution to amend No.7 Maintenance of Declaration under B to require the use of "flex hose" for toilet and sink connections:
75 affirmative votes were cast, 37 against - Vote Failed

8/22/19 - Members Meeting
A Quorum was not obtained at this meeting so the meeting and vote could not proceed.
Resolutions;
1) Resolution to approve the 7/30/19 board vote to sign a contact with Spectrum for bulk cable/internet services:
67 affirmative votes were cast, 19 against - Vote did not pass (no quorum)
The August 22 Members Meeting did not have 107 unit owners present or by proxy so there was not a quorum for a meeting to give unit owners a chance to vote for or against Spectrum. However, pursuant to Florida Statutes 718.115(1)(d)1, "if no motion is made by any member at the next regular meeting of the association to cancel the contract, the contract shall be deemed ratified." No such motion was made at the Board Meeting following the scheduled Members Meeting so the Spectrum Contract was ratified.

A Quorum of 111 owners were Represented either in person (28) or by proxy (83). Two owner resolutions were considered, both requiring an affirmative vote of a Majority of the Units Represented at the meeting. The board approved a motion to skip reading the owner roll.

107 affirmative votes were cast, 4 against - Vote Passed
2) Resolution to rollover surplus operating funds to reserves:
111 affirmative votes were cast, 0 against - Vote Passed

A Quorum of 154 owners were Represented either in person or by proxy. Two owner resolutions were considered, both requiring an affirmative vote of a Majority of the Units Represented at the meeting. The owner roll was read aloud along with the vote of that unit owner.
Resolutions;
1) Resolution to Restore the existing Concrete Balustrades:
114 affirmative votes were cast - Vote Passed
2) Resolution to Replace balcony railings with aluminum:
40 affirmative votes were cast - Vote Failed
A Board vote was then taken to overturn the vote taken by last years board to replace with Aluminum Railings which passed. To complete the owner vote, a Board vote was taken to approve the owners vote to restore and this passed.

A Quorum of 156 owners were Represented either in person or by proxy. Two owner resolutions were considered, both requiring an affirmative vote of a Majority of the Units Represented at the meeting. The owner roll was read aloud along with the vote of that unit owner.

1) Resolution to partially fund the 2018 Reserves:
144 affirmative votes were cast - Vote Passed
2) Resolution to allow the Decorating Reserve Account to be used to cover unpaid hurricane expenses:
140 affirmative votes were cast - Vote Passed
A Quorum of 156 owners were Represented either in person or by proxy. Two owner resolutions were considered, both requiring an affirmative vote of a Majority of the Units Represented at the meeting. The owner roll was read aloud along with the vote of that unit owner.
